2023 was… A real mood board of surprises.

2024 will probably be… The year, I finally learned to juggle flaming swords while riding a unicycle backward. Exciting, right?

Last three things you spend money on? Seattle Coffee’s Chai Latte. Deodarant and Super-Aweh.

The last text you sent? The last text I sent was a profound and earth-shattering message about food: “Is their Oxtail cheap?”

Best Dressed Namibians of 2023? Male: Well clearly, unless you are blind, I rocked the fashion scene. Female: My aunt stole the show at our family reunion in a custom outfit leaving us all feeling fashionably inadequate in our generic T-shirts.

2023 in a tweet... "Mbuaeee!”

2023 taught me…  Gee this year I learned that I really dislike slow walkers in front of me and people who are just ndje standing there confused at the ATM. Please be fast, we have things to do.

What did 2023 take away from you? Oh, just my sense of time, my dedication to sleep, and probably a few brain cells along the way.

What song dominated your playlist in 2023? My alarm clock. That song was on repeat this year.

What put Namibia in the spotlight this year? Windhoek Comedy Festival. What a joy it was to see the most beautiful art project unfold right in front of my eyes, with the biggest talents in the country. So lekker!!!!

Namibian holiday destination? You guessed it—my bedroom. It's got all the amenities: comfort, books, and relaxation and I can do fun things there.

Namibian disruptor of the year? Babysitting my 1-year-old nephew really disrupted my life hey. Never have I watched so much Coco Melon. Mukuru!

Most overrated thing in 2023? WhatsApp groups. Please just call me directly, I am bad at texting. Especially the group chat with my friends, I hate it there so much! Every day it’s a debate about something I don't have the time for. And the worst part is that my friends are not aware that I have a life outside of their ridiculous shenanigans. Jirrr…

2023 highlight? Hmm, surviving it without a manual, I suppose.

last thing that gave you sleepless nights? Well, on a recent project, a specific team member was really incompetent at their job and it was so stressful for all of us. I honestly almost cried. Yoh, guys!!

Biggest blooper of the year? My long legs in a Nissan mach taxi. I really miss my car guys.

A book you will recommend to a friend/family? The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron. That book is my new bible.
