A New Breed in Hip Hop. Wizz Young Blood

We had a chat with Namibian born hip Hop Artist Seth Eiaseb known as Wizz Young Blood from Windhoek who is a middle child of a family of 5. Seth is one of the Hip Hop Artist that are advocating for radio stations to play more local music than international music. Here is the conversation we had with Seth, where we asked him 21 questions:

  1. What first got you into music?

Love got me into music. Growing up as a kid I always wanted to express myself, but it was very hard because no one would dare to listen to me, so I realized that I need to communicate through music, to express my views.

  1. Who inspired you to make music?

Tupac Shakur played a major role in my music journey; he made a huge impact on me as an artist. I grew up listening to his jams made me realize that there is better in giving to the fans than taking.

  1. How would you describe the music that you typically create?

I would describe it as highly motivational, if you listen to my music, you can sense that I have a story to tell. Each song has its own meaning

  1. What is your creative process like?

I prefer a super quiet area, just me and nature, it gives me great ideas and focus to work.

  1. Who would you most like to collaborate with?

Well I would definitely like to work with the likes of  Jericho, KK, Desmond, Adora and lastly Emtee the trap goat.

Internationally it would be Emtee, and Casper

Locally it will definitely be Jericho and KK

  1. What is one message you would give to your fans?

Work hard on your dreams, even if it means that you need to sacrifice a few things you wanted at that particular momentfor the success of what you really need. Trust me, nothing comes easy in life.

  1. What is the most useless talent you have?

I can take a nap for a specified amount of time, like say 22 minutes. I also know right before a timer is about to go off

It has made a huge impact, in a positive way, even though we can't go out there and connect with fans face to face. As up and coming artists, this is a great opportunity to grow our online fans and try to generate revenue from it. It has changed my musical career in a positive way.
