The Year That Was... Mufaro Nesongano
Once known for his voice on the radio, Mufaro ventured into the corporate world over a decade ago, bringing with him a background steeped in media and communication. Currently, he serves as the Group Communication and Old Mutual Foundation Manager, where he contributes to the media and PR landscape of the insurance sector while also working on impactful projects within the Old Mutual Foundation.
2023 was... A year of reflecting on how far I have come and appreciating the journey I have traveled. I got to plan quite a lot for my future since I turn 40 in 2 years' time.
2024 will be... A year of building on the foundation that I laid in 2023.

Most overrated thing in 2023? The most overrated thing in 2023 was the notion that artificial intelligence (AI) would completely replace human jobs.
2023 highlight? Being recognised among Old Mutual Namibia's top performers and receiving a reward trip to Zanzibar was a significant highlight of my year.
Last thing that gave you sleepless nights? The last thing that kept me up at night was the weight of various injustices prevailing in the world.
Biggest blooper of the year? Hahaha, I will keep this to myself.
