Project Runway Africa to launch in 2025
Project Runway, the celebrated global fashion competition that has transformed the lives of designers worldwide, is making its highly anticipated African debut in 2025.
Project Runway Africa, produced by Takeout Media and What Network, will showcase a new generation of African designers and spotlight the diverse talent from the continent on an international platform. Takeout Media and What Network through its SPV Take Two Media licensed the Project Runway format from Fremantle.
For two decades, Project Runway has captivated audiences with its high-stakes challenges, fierce competition, and visionary designs, launching the careers of some of the most prominent names in fashion. Now, the show invites African designers aged 21 to 40 with refined skills and a strong digital presence to share their unique heritage and creativity on a global stage. With expert mentorship, thrilling weekly challenges, and unparalleled exposure, these rising talents will have the resources and support to elevate their work to new heights.
